No hats after ~260 hours of play, then I craft one and find a drop within about 15.

Bonk is virtually useless

Eyelander is cheap, but only if you aren't fast or wielding Natasha*

Bonk is not useless, you can run through enemies to get behind them, or evade/distract sentries so your teammates can destroy them easier.
