Activision is even greedier than IW. Even after the game sold millions of copies, Activision did not pay IW, so thats why some of the designers quit.

IW isn't greedy, they were a legitimate developer with a desire to make good games, and they succeeded, but Activision came in and corrupted the stuff out of the CoD franchise and treated IW developers like stuff, because Bobby Kotick has no buisness ethics and is just generally an evil, evil man.

ww2 = rifles and pistols and flamethrowers and machine guns.
mw = heat seeking rocket launchers and jet planes and helicopters with machine guns and tanks and sniper rifles and machine guns with laser sights

also yuki, it's because they are about 50 different WW2 games and well idk how many modern warfare based games there are, ya they are fun but they get old after a while, and seeing as there are no known World War 1 games it would be a fresh start...
