none of those had puzzles which made you actually think
Are you stuffting me? Even if Deus Ex didn't have physics puzzles, it made you think in the sense "How am I going to attack this problem? I have a variety of different routes I could take with pros and cons to each, which one am I going to use?"

It's way better than the HL2 approach of "Get from point A to clearly marked point B. There is an obstacle between those two points, find a way around it."

GTA SA had no physics, wasn't even a FPS so you're comparing 2 genre's. Never played Desu Ex but I hear its really good.

Never played Deus Ex! Ah, please buy it right now. It's literally a gaming masterpiece.

Also, with GTA:SA I know they're not in the same genre (although, TPS is like FPS's cousin), you can still say "I liked this game more than that game." There are racing games I liked more than HL2.

in gta sa
they opened the doors so god damn roughly, which is a peeve of mine.
also, running over an 80 lb old lady with a 3 ton vehicle going 200 mph makes you stop immediately

I forgot what level, but you were storming some massive building in City 17 and you had to fight striders and stuff, I love playing that level in G-mod and spawning random Combine and stuff to fight each other. I love modifying the levels of HL2 on G-mod to have flame traps and crushers like that.

But anyway, HL2 was great and I loved it first time around but i'm not the kind that replays one track games over and over. It was fun while it lasted.

Tell me about, if you ran out of ammo for gun, you were out for all of them.

I got as far as when you got to install augmentations for the first time, then I was just tired of its stuffty interface, long load times, and completely revamped graphics that somehow managed to slow my computer down, despite the fact that was made seven years ago. My computer isn't even that bad.

It also was perhaps a bit on the short side.
wat.

It took me about a week to beat it the first time through.  Does that mean I suck at games? D:

I completely agree.

It's kind of like a condom, you have a great time with it once, but you don't touch it again(at least that's how it was for me).

If you tell me that I've never used a condom you're completely missing the point.
