Right now I have maxed small guns and fifty speech and fifty repair. I kind of want to branch out to either laser or big guns, what do you guys think?

What level are you?

I maxed out my small guns when I was level 6 because of smart planning (I also had no skills lower than 20)

I'm level eight. I've been splitting up my points unevenly between smallguns speech and repair

By the way, on the oasis quest, none of the choices give bad karma right? Also, if you make Harold grow do you ever see signs that he is actually growing into the wasteland?

I'm pretty sure if you set Harold on fire or make Harold grow, you lose karma. I'm not too sure, however.

You only lose karma if you set him on fire.

The screams cant be unheard.

No, The trees stay in/around oasis forever.

Sell expensive things to trader then kill him/her. Then loot the dead body for your stuff back.

But don't you get all their caps when they die?

Haha speaking of traders, once I saw a lady who had a brahmin and a dog. I didn't want to lose any karma though.  Nearby I knew there was a Mr. Gutsy.

She walked right into him and her dog and brahmin went down. I looted the brahmin, but then the gutsy went away. The trader was still in fighting mode, so I walked into her so many times that she got mad and followed me. I lead her back to Mr. Gutsy and they killed each other :D

Also, I maxed out big guns at level 10, now I will max out lasers
