Author Topic: Might have to un-install steam. :(  (Read 1180 times)

Well, ever since I downloaded steam (about 2 months ago) my computer has been really glitchy.

For instance, my monitor going out numerous times, my computer going slower than usual, and some of my games cannot run. (Yes, blockland still runs)

I'm doing a virus scan with AVG right now.

If I find a virus i'm gonna get rid of it and do a computer clean-up.

(I might have to un-install steam)

Is anyone having the same problem?

Steam doesn't do that.

No, you got a virus from somewhere else most likely

you got a virus bro
the lag is also steam being a cpu whore

stop downloading research

Steam is known to be slow.

Suggestions: Get rid of your viruses and upgrade to at least a dual core.

Nou.

Anyways, it can't be steam.

It's probably something else.

I like pressing enter after each sentence two times.

Huehuehue.

Don't run steam unless you plan on playing a game?

If you really want to, be sure to back up your steamapps folder. You don't want to be spending your time redownloading your games.

My pc crashed so i had reset the whole thang

Scan Steam folder, no viruses = Steam is not a problem. Do a scan on things that might seem like viruses
