the 15% damage buff was a recent addition due to complaints of it sucking, which it did. It encourages ambushing.

15% more damage isn't going to help your teammates whom are burning to death.
15% more damage isn't going to help you survive rocket/demo spam.
It still sucks and is the choice for sub-par pyros, unless you utilize it properly.

That's good. Prevents WM1. The backburner just gives WM1 pyros new ground to stand on.
And no, it's the second best thing I do in TF2.

I was amazed at how long it took me to kill a heavy. I'd rather be able to kill people than I would push them away.

Problem.
You have no business that close to a heavy, and the airblast is more than just "Pushing people away"
