Fallout: New Vegas
If you're going to say late, leave.
What is New Vegas?
You should know this already, but whatever. Fallout: New Vegas is a sequel to Fallout 3.
It, obviously, takes place in the dead Las Vegas.
What's different?
Well, for one thing, it takes place in Las Vegas you ding dong, and instead of taking place as a Vault Escapee, you take place as one of those annoying trader people from the wasteland. The game places the player in the role of a courier. The courier, while delivering a package with unknown contents, is found unconscious in a shallow grave after a failed assassination attempt by an unknown assailant. The courier is treated for injuries by a local caregiver, Doc Mitchell.
What is the gameplay like?
The gameplay uses a different engine from Fallout 3's stuffty one. It will have many improvements from the old one.
What about the weapons?
There are new weapons, some are Fallout 3 weapons, and there's now a weapon modification system. The modification system allow for weapon modifications, such as mounting scopes, modifying rate of fire and changing size of magazine.
Are there still Companions?
Yes, but there are better control over your companions, using the new "Companion Wheel" feature.
The Companion Wheel is a graphical and a radial menu, it's an easier way to control your companions and give them orders.
We already know about Fallout: New Vegas, why did you make this topic?
Well, if you haven't noticed yet, it's up there for pre-order on Steam and you can get the "Caravan Pack", so I felt to dig up some information on it.
Pictures!
