I've gotten bored of all the "DMs", "CityRPG", "CTF"...
I was thinking of a few new, creative game modes.
"Landscape"
Where you are a landscaper with the tools to create a wonderful landscape. Unfortunately, you are left with a desert. You must find a river to water the soil, mold the dirt, and watch for the weather. There are a few things to this. You only place bricks you dug, or bought. You cannot hold more than 1000 dirt bricks. Grass must be near water and planted. If it is dry soil, it is unable to be dug and it dries everything around it and above it. Weather plays a key role. Rain = water, too much rain = flood and ruined landscape. No sun = no planting, sun = dryness, but planting. Snowing = no landscaping, ETC...
"Survival"
[Insert reason why you were left to survive here], you have to survive until you get rescued. You only have a tent, a bow, and water. Your human necessities play a role here. As well as weather. Random monsters can appear and depending on the enviroment, animals could wander there. [Insert stuff about Minecraft Survival].
"Last Stand"
You and a group of teammates must defends a point whiles waves of monsters come in. As each wave comes in, each get more mobs, stronger mobs, and more deadly mobs.
Well, that's it. I know, you can do these with events, but I want gamemodes. >:(

I like the landscape gamemode, that's the type of gamemode idea I'll keep it in my mind if no one gets to it. It sounds like an area I might be able to develop some brick generations scripts.

landscape looks interesting, but the survival and last stand i would just do with zombies/bots



Instead of landscape, why not make Blockland Indev? Yes, it would totally work... but it can be done with scripting, modeling and a bit of VCE.

The last two can, I don't think landscaping can.

Survival was being made. Search for it in the Modification Discussion.

Last stand is pretty much Rotondo's Zombie Mod. Search it up.

Landscape is a super legit idea. Probably one of the best I've heard of in a long time. Combine that with the survival game mod and you'd have something epic.

Anyways, I was aiming more for the landscaping idea. The other two were just "too lazy to event" things.

Landscaping could be done like the trench mod. If someone wants to make it, you could use it as a reference.

You barely need to event the other two.
