Alright, so im making a decal in paint.NET but i take something and post it and it isnt transparent so how do i make it transparent without making the whole image part i want transparent?

Use GIMP or Adobe Fireworks CS3, Paint.NET is garbage.

Paint.net will still work.


The part you want trans, click with the magic wand at 0% tolerance and press delete. Don't use the fillbucket.

Are you on a Mac or a Windows? Preview in mac shows up as Black when an image contains transparency, try it in game if you havent.

im on windows... usually on anything transparent it shows up checkered but this time its black...

i tried it in game and its still black, i also DL GIMP so how do you make it transparent in GIMP?

These guys must have never encountered this problem. In order to keep the transparencies, you have to save it as a .PNG.
