I'm a sucker for a great stealth engine.

Sneak-'em-Up's. Thief 2 was my favorite game. (I guess it's a sub-class of FPS)

Otherwise, it would have to be either be RPG, Open World/Sandbox, or customization.

Really, it depends on a lot.

You might want to add puzzle/logic. I would say my favorite would depend on my mood, if I'm more energetic I'll play FPS's. If I'm feeling creative I play sandbox games. And when I want to pass time I'll play RP's or MMO's.
