Very rarely has anyone made an add-on based of something that is controversially popular and gotten away with it without crap-on'ing and ridicule.

Halo is pretty much hated by about 99% of the forums

I like it, you like it, a few idiots like it, and other intelligent forums members like it, but that's about it.

So the possibility of you getting a Halo 3 Brute chopper, is pretty much none.

I really dont know that much about halo, I just got the idea from playing Xbox 360 live online play with my friend yesterday and thought the vehicle I saw on the sand dune map was called a chopper, so i desided to request it

Anywho, aside from the "Halo" aspect of it, this would be a fun vehicle to drive. I vote for it. Instant death if you run someone over from the front and it shoots rockets that are weaker than the default Rocket Launcher's.

Wow. 'Halo in Blockland' seems to be the endless argument around here doesn't it?
If you don't mind...

If a feature, say a weapon from another game is created and released as an Add-on for Blockland for the sole purpose of simply being able to use that weapon in-game, then it never should be released in any way.

The weapons in TF2 get through the community's "Keep other games out of blockland" filter because they are able to serve relevant purposes in DMs because they are based off of a very reliable TDM source.

I Love Halo and TF2. The reasons that there aren't any 'good' Halo Add-ons is that Halo's charm doesn't apply to anything blockland. There have been a few good Halo Add-ons released, but there simply isn't enough drive to create things from another game/platform who's differences are so broad that they shouldn't even be comparable at all.
I'm also sorry to say that most of the halo fans who have access to the internet and who regularly play blockland aren't the brightest bulbs in the box. It is a matter of understanding why people dislike things, not a matter of how to convince them that they're "wrong" or "haters".

I myself am not sure how many more times I'll feel the need to explain this.

If done right, the chopper would be fun.
The problem is the "If done right" part.
Personally I'd scrap the idea. Think of a creative alternative that would compliment Blockland's 'nature' so to speak.
