Author Topic: Xbox 360 Slim  (Read 3904 times)

I'm saying it's not a slim, in that a slim was essentially a complete downgrade for a smaller size, whereas this was an update of the hardware. I understand they're competitors, but calling it a "Xbox Slim" doesn't make sense, at all.
Also, a lot of new products don't use physical buttons in favor of those touch-sensitive ones, and I've never really heard of any issues, although I really don't like it. Like you said, that might become a big issue.

During Microsoft's press briefing prior to E3 2010, a redesigned Xbox 360 was announced. The new model is smaller and quieter than the previous versions.

Why are you so negative all the time?
Why is this whole forum so negative?  That's a much better question.  Look around, stop trying to flame me so badly.

I wouldn't call it a downgrade, only 250 gb models and a smaller console with less usb ports that are rarely used.  really, how much do you use your xbox's usb ports?  Not really much of a downgrade.  Don't say no backwards compatibility, the normal console didn't do that unless you have a release model.  Yeah, and a few release PS3s (and the old iPod 3g, I think) had the touch sensitive buttons randomly act.

really, how much do you use your xbox's usb ports?
All of mine are full.

What do you have plugged in?

What do you have plugged in?
Controllers? Ipod charger? Phone charger(Mine has a USB thingy at the end and a custom fitter)?

What do you have plugged in?
Flash drives, headset charger, zune.

@flash drives: Well, that one is technically fixed if you're using them for xbox saves and junk.

I need a new Xbox360 my Xbox's disc thingy is jammed up to where i need to press open like 10 times for it to actually open, it's all dirty. I take my xbox everywhere and it's so loving heavy. So I would like a new one.

I'm hating you more and more each day

I use them to store gamer profiles and arcade games.
"Why not put them on the HDD?"
Because you can exploit the system if you copy an arcade game to a flash drive from an account that owns it, and play it on accounts that don't own it.

Just because I have a messed up Xbox?

A lot of those things don't need to be plugged in at the same time, though.  And what does the xbox do with the zune, I would like to know what zune support it has.

I would buy, then again, I haven't played it lately (well, I have played it today and yesterday, but just to play Castle Crashers. Waiting for PS3 version). So, I'm just gonna stick to my Xbox that I barely even play anymore. I got a PS3 last month and TF2 a few weeks ago, so, now I can't really find anything to play except for The Behemoth's games. The only time I see myself buying anything on the Xbox anymore is if I get BattleBlock Theater, but I don't even know if I will buy that.
