I know, I love them, but my point was they would be extremely cheap to mass produce, and are spectacularly overpriced.

It's a supply and demand deal, people who are truly dedicated to a game they love will spend lots of money on figures that can cost 1$ to make but pay 50$-100$ on it. The materials aren't expensive but the molds for those high end figures are expensive as hell.
