It seems a bit strange. Excellent work, though: it's just with the random gel and turrets... I dunno, it just doesn't have that same "feel" as the vanilla battles.

Also, because you are flung into the air it looks like he is either turning the room upside down or going down really fast, not up.

Can someone please tell me the name of the prop (in the first Portal SDK) which is that thing when you first see the portal gun it's sitting on a little stand?

But I managed to make my first map work.
It has a paint dispenser and an aerial faith plate.
The aerial faith plate only launched me into the air 1 feet and acts as a trampoline, and the paint dispenser is offset as you can see. Also, when I drop a cube onto the plate it disappears (very fast flight?)


Also, how do I make the TL-lights like in the actual game?
I just made a light without casing here as you can see.

The gel looks like it's being pulled into the portal lol.

Armyguy, try making sure that the gel dispenser points straight down.
And also make sure you have a target for the AFP using an info_target.

First (as you can see in the picture) all worked well, now I rotated it so it doesn't spew so odd, the paint comes out but does not visually cover surfaces. The gel works but you can't see it.
oddly you can see it on a hard light bridge, but not anywhere else.

And my emanicipation grille is just removing portals, not cubes.

Goddamnit, I have been looking for days on the internet, found my problem, but now I cannot find ANYWHERE how to loving DISABLE MAT_FULLTBRIGHT. ad sdknfbsdfghd
Fixed by building a huge hollow box around the map. asfgg leaks.

Emanicipation grille
Aerial faith plate
Paint dispenser
Cube dispenser
Kill liquid
Defective turret dispenser (above the pool of kill liquid <3)
Button that inverts funnel
Thermal discouragement beam
And the hardest of all:
Shredders
Took me couple ages to make them work properly.
