Will they be a homing projectile?

They should have a little bit of homing. Aiming underwater is hard.

I was developing this a while back. The alpha of it was called the "A-P Bomb" and was included with my "Bombs" package, however the usage was quite different. Instead of being an underwater-only bomb, the bomb was used instead for strafing, because it exploded on contact and could be used anywhere. It was mostly used on single targets, most often players (The "A-P" stands for Anti-Personnel). It had no real splash damage but a lot of direct damage, making it optimum for sighting a player from long distance, then homing in and taking him out. I never got around to remaking the A-P Bomb.

Oh yeah, I still have the A-P Bomb, it works pretty all, considering. I was considering going into it and upping some of the splash damage myself, but I wasn't sure. I'd only be able to make very minor edits to the script.

I'll be updating the GPEOD set on RTB to re-include an A-P Bomb.

Ooooo, fun! I look forward to it!

Actually, can you send me the script to the original AP bomb? I need to recall how it was done.

Not modern days.

Technically yes, but we don't carpet bomb anymore so that's irrelevant;
Quote
Considerable discussion about the relative merits of carpet vs. precision bombing has resulted among military historians ever since. It must be remembered that, until precision guidance systems became available during the 1980s, targeted individual bombs dropped from high altitude might fall hundreds of meters from their target. Low level attacks were more likely to be accurate, but the attacker was less likely to survive. Consequently, carpet bombing was a strategy forced by circumstance.
Nowadays, a large bomber or missile can be used to create the same effect on a small area (an airfield, for example) by releasing a relatively large number of smaller bombs. Some artillery systems, such as the US Army's MLRS, can also be used to bomb regions in a similar manner.
We have different methods to achieve the same goal, however.
