I need to look up if it would be possible to get the open city mod onto xbox 360 via a USB flashdrive. It works on some games.
probably not

Thanks, that helps a lot. Hmmm... Where do you go about downloading these? I tried a simple google search and didn't find them easily.

tesnexus, or planetelderscrolls

Got the game. I feel like a complete idiot. I want to level light armor and I've been carrying a heavy shield, so I go to the shield shop. I talked to the owner and didn't see anything that seemed like it would allow me to buy the items on the shelves (I did see the little buttons below including the repair button). Well, I was looking at the shields and noticed they had prices when moused over. I assumed that I could pick it up, then pay the guy. The owner yells, then just stands there. Upon talking to him, he seems to have forgotten the entire incident and I cannot find any means to pay. Since I'm afraid that the guards will come or something, I drop the shield on the ground. As soon as it hits the ground, random guard-man busts in and arrests for stealing.

hahahaha
in all medieval games you talk to the loving store owner. but if items were buyable off the shelves it'd be awesome.
also to prevent you from loving up again, if you attack someone indoors, and they happen to make it outside, you get arrested.

You can break out of jail

under level 15 you have no chance of succesfully resisting arrest.

No matter what class you are you can join a guild.

Asking rumors sometimes pays off

Only use weapons and stuff that are your major skills

Dont level any of your attributes to 100

you have to be at least level 30 in sneak to rob a store without being detected.

You can kill anyone you want who is in an individual village/settlement

Why not level anything to 100?

Please note, he didn't make it outside. In fact, he didn't move.

So is there some button I missed when talking to the owner?

I got one, I just haven't spent the time to find the program needed to unzip it.

There's a little square button for shops and stuff during a conversation.

So I guess I just missed it.

it'll make this difficult later.
get 100 str at level 12 would make level 15 really difficult

there is a button
it looks like a circle mixed with a recycling icon
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Peoplethis should tell you everything.
and refer to

for answers to those guards' spidey senses

So I guess I just missed it.
Yeah.
I think it's two arrows going in a circle or something. I haven't played in a while.

Um...
I noticed it too.

Anyways, thanks guys. I should have time to get the program to open .rar's tomorrow and I can put an end to the all-seeing guards.
