Well I live in florida and the oil spill is bugging me because it means:

No fishing
No swimming
less seafood
Everglades may be harmed.

It's a slowly depleting resource, that's bad. Also, who gives a rat's ass about the environment? People only care now because it's starting to show the damage we've done, it's a little late.
