 solid, liquid, gas, plasma.

These are the states of matter, plasma is already an available energy source but we still use coal to power our cities.
There is a new way to get energy and its through plasma recycling. You take in garbage that recycling plants can't use and turn it into plasma for energy instead of digging a hole to dump toxic waste into. Honestly our governments are busy solving issues that are not even close to what the most important task is.

wow more stupid science from Riot.

Plasma requires more energy to produce than it could possibly generate. You have to heat things up to insane temperatures in order to get plasma, and where does that heat come from?

Nuclear fission is the best thing we have at the moment, and the waste from it is not nearly as difficult to dispose of as people say, not to mention the reactors themselves are extremely safe.

After fusion is perfected on a large scale, we can switch to that.

There are multiple factories in the world that are currently using this method.

wow they're all tests and they aren't producing power for municipalities.

Why not?
Almost all plastics are made with oil. You wouldn't be able to have a computer if we didn't have any oil. We need to use oil we just use it a little too much.

We could still survive.

We could still survive.
It would be living hell though.

Actually, there is a 5th called a Colloid which a state of matter which is decided chemically by it's surroundings.

Like Cornstarch and water is a colloid, since when you push it hard it becomes a solid, but then when you let it go it becomes a liquid.
