No. I have Mac OS X 10.4.11 and blockland works fine for me. It must be something else.

Nope, you are just lucky.

It is definitely his operating system since it is impossible to make an application like Blockland run on both 10.6 and 10.4

Install snow leopard, I have it, I'm fine. Though my computer is a newer one. Is your computer old?
