Just get No$GBA (Free) and get a GBA rom on you're computer (downloadable off websites). I use it all the time and I dont pay a cent for it.

Anyway GBA emulators are good for playing old games even if you don't have. There is also a DS emulator if anyone was thing to get one.
Edit: Theres about all of the rom emulators now. Like Gamecube, DSi, Wii, Any game device made by Nintendo have an emulator now. The only GOOD reason to buy a game at the store is so you can put it in whatever crap you have and play it portably, such as Gameboy Versions or DS/DSi.

virtual NES -NES
ZSNES       - SNES
Project64  -nintendo64
VisualBoyAdvance -game boy advanced (also plays GBC and GB roms)
desmume  -DS only for games I own

Edit: Theres about all of the rom emulators now. Like Gamecube, DSi, Wii, Any game device made by Nintendo have an emulator now.
