It works fine for me. I've been using it for the better part of 2 years.
Aren't those optical?  I know Logitech does good ones, the only mice I've used for the past few years are logitech.

Check edit.

I usually play with low-medium sensitivity as a any class on any game. In tf2 where I will be running alot, I play on medium sensitivy. In games like Insurgency, I play on low sensitivity.

ballmouses are a no-no
forget you, I use a ballmouse and I snipe people with a 70% accuracy.

I use my dell mouse that came with the computer and I hit 90% of the time.

aimbots reduce sensitivity

In TF2 the crosshair doesn't match up with the middle of the red dot, or where the scope's lines meet up. Am I supposed to aim with the crosshair or by the red dot? Because sometimes when I shoot the bullethole doesn't seem to be where the crosshair was.

Practice with your mouse at your desktop, then go into some fps and try pretending the boxes are enemies and shoot at them as fast as you can.

There are always boxes in fps games.

Okay, I have 5 mice. I don't use any of them. In fact, I use my touchpad. All I can tell you is, you'll get used to it. If not, buy a new mouse, and make sure it has no "SPECIAL FEATURES" like the stuffty MX Revolution. That thing's a piece of stuff.

Try moving from back and forth from one target to the next and shoot each time. Try to make it so that you hit that target every time and if you are going to far, make sensitivity slower, and vise versa.

15-20 in Source/GoldSRC games, mouse filter on and mouse acceleration off.

Highest in this one Lithtech game I play all the time.

I use this mouse, but this computer is a crappy computer so I can't play anything but flash games on it:
