Author Topic: Making a SNES handheld  (Read 2742 times)

I was thinking about how the psp made it handheld, but then that was a totally new design
Yeah.
I'm gonna look up schematics of the PSP online and try to piece together a handheld device of my own that runs a simple OS like an old version of Windows or something.
Or the schematics of a smartphone board.

no blowing on games with these, they just work better

but yah i would totally buy handheld that actually was just meant for snes roms

SMW2: Yoshi's Island.

I recommend Super Metroid, Earthbound, Earthworm Jim, Chrono Trigger, and Star Fox.

I'm sure something like this has been done before. Although, it would be interesting to see a handheld SNES if it used original stuff

okay this looks just awesome

Make your own, it is not that hard. You get the right websites telling you what goes pin goes to what slot and it is just following instructions.

now find me a box that USB's to my computer so i can drop in all the nes/snes roms i want.

then plug the thing up to any tv and just select my game.
i would stuff myself

Hmm that's going to take some Googlin but if not you could hook up your pc to a tv screen and then try to find a nes game controller, or a look alike with a usb connection and hook it up to your pc

here's a NES controler to USB converter

its gotta be a little more portable, like a console of its own
