Fun? Yes.

Original? Yes and no.

Beneficial? NO.

Good skill? NO.

A game is meant to be fun numbnuts, you didn't play Super Marion Sunshine for a reward did you? You didn't play Galaxy for a reward either.

Even I had 50 of them

You bought the same, generic, 200 gold item 50 times? And then jagex raised the price? Sounds pretty convenient.

No, there's no economy anymore. It sucks. I could just about have fun before then, but now theres nothing. I'm already selling my bank out. (then buying something expensive and waiting for it to rise)

But if the point of the game is to get high levels AND have fun,

what is the point of making a huge deal out of something that can't even pass for a "skill?"

A skill is meant to be the training part of the game.

You do dungeoneering to gain EXP in the skills you use, it's not as quick as anything else but you do it in a much more fun enviroment than just grinding away for days with nobody around you.
In doing this you gain points which can be exchanged for items that work with these skills and help you outside of the dungeoneering skill.

It was designed to boost the entertainment value and community aspect of the game, considering there are no parties in general play on Runescape this skill works well for this, it also gives good rewards if you keep at it as a side bonus.

Makes sense, doesn't it?

The players do normally control the economy
What? How? Last time I played everything was the same price and was always the same price, unless traded or from the exchange thing.

Still, getting one item that needs level 90 in three skills is not as beneficial as getting a high defence to avoid being killed, or a high fishing level to fish for food.

Any game with any sort of economy, played by people will always end up with an overloaded economy.

Its funny. You know the tribal crap that used to be worth 1-10k?
Now its near 80k, last time I checked.
It looks unattractive. I don't know why I even use it.

They have merchant runs on GE, where you buy stuff like pineapple seeds and hold them, other people raise the economy, and then you sell them for more money.
