Author Topic: Most hated kind of game ending?  (Read 5892 times)

I hate games with endings where instead of having some new features unlocked, and the joy of completing something, the credits roll, and you dropped off where you where before you fought the final boss, and they tell you to go do stuff you've already done before, i mean, i just don't feel like i've accomplished something, and i feel that the game will "never" actually end :(
Examples: LOZ phantom hourglass, M&L Bowser's inside story, professor layton.
It might be diffrent to you, but this is my opinion.

the nintendo games where you have to restart the console

I agree totally. Or worse, games that just let you see a final cut scene.

The ending you described, or games that leave a lot of cliff-hangers

vanilla fallout 3 ending

Someone dies unexpectedly

episode 2

;.;

Ratchet and Clank games are an example of that.

Anyways, I don't hate any game endings because I haven't gone through one in a while.

Also, Drawn to life 2.
Extremely sad ending for a kid's game, and it drops you back at the final boss :c
I'm not playing another DTL game again.

The first DTL was horrible IMO.

i used mister cheif in dtl 1 and drew bacon as his weapon

I didn't say it was bad, just sad :(

"HA HA IT WAS JUST A DREAM."

"YOU'RE IN A COMA. THERE WAS A CAR CRASH. DAD HAS DEAD."
