No. It was nothing special. He jumped off from the boss level down to the castle, saved the princess and the first thing that pops up in Peach's mind is to make a cake for Mario. What the forget?
It's badass because it's a very unique ending but seriously. Mario risks his loving life for searching 120 stars, beating all kind of enemies and Bowser's ass just to get a damn cake. What the forget were they thinking?

I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the letter in the beginning.  Peach says that she baked a cake for mario.

Also, Drawn to life 2.
Extremely sad ending for a kid's game, and it drops you back at the final boss :c
I'm not playing another DTL game again.

After I bet it (only took about 2 or 3 days) I sold Drawn to life 2 and Drawn to life 1. Then I got almost $50

I need you to go back to level 1 and get my bracelet. You need to stay alive and keep it safe all the way back to level 8 so you can slay the final boss with this stuffty weapon.
