The Half-Life 1 ending was one of the most original endings I've ever seen.

Probably one of my favorites.

The game ending for fallout 3 with no add-ons had me crying, what the forget were they thinking?

I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the letter in the beginning.  Peach says that she baked a cake for mario.

But they at least could've made her jump into Mario, kissing him wildly and thanking him for risking his life for her. :|
Mario's supposed to be a fun game and the ending had no emotions at all.

But the credits made me cry.

It's just that this was my first game with story that I've finished, back then. It made me cry because you realize that you're done. You're loving done with the game! What now? The game was so great and now it's about to end! It took me 2 loving years to beat that game, and now it's just about do end!
I felt like a world was tearing apart.
