Read some of this drama posts and threads first, you'll see the kind of effort he usually puts into this forum.

I read through about 6 or 7 pages, looking solely for posts of his in this forum. Most of them seemed like your average post, while a few were iffy on relevance to the topic.

I think what you identify as pomposity is me behaving as a mature adult in response to people behaving like immature kids. How you perceive my behavior appears to be dependant on what end of the spectrum you're on.

Whether I've said it already or not, what I identify as pomposity is you waltzing around these forums as if you're any better than any of the other members on these forums. Clearly I'm not the only one that thinks you're arrogant. I could easily argue that what you perceive as being a "mature adult" is simply having a wide vocabulary, and using it to subtly turn an argument away from you.

Moving this into it's own drama thread seems like a pretty backwards way of escaping from an argument if you ask me. My vocabulary seems like a recurring theme here, My bad if it threatens you or something but it shouldn't be held against me that I have a wider lexicon from which to express my thoughts. It actually comes in handy when I want to partake in an argument without having to resort to using words and phrases such as "douche bag" and "e-snake".

Unless I've actually claimed anywhere that I'm better than everyone on these forums then it's pretty much just your perception of my behavior that's the problem. You won't find an unbiased opinion from the peanut gallery in this forum so let's leave them out of it.

I'd prefer to use words that don't appear so aggressive - "douche bag" and "e-snake" are designed to be insults.

Egotistical and arrogant also have negative connotations to them, and I've already seen you call someone, along the lines of, a "loving idiot."

Last part is my mistake. I saw "peanut" and related it to someone who's peanut brained.

Sure, they're negative connotations but they're not outright rude. I'm trying to be civil here. Of course there are instances where a person is being a "loving idiot" (e.g. MegaScientifical above) and I don't have a problem telling them, but it's all dependant on the circumstances.

No, it's not confusing. I would like to hear, from him, under what circumstances he thinks it's okay for him to lash out at someone like that.

I don't really have a pre-defined criteria for an aggressive response. You can throw a few hypothetical situations at me if you're really interested, or just search my posts and look at those.

Generally you'll find I get pretty mad at people spreading misinformation (especially in Coding Help where people are trying to learn), and also people who stop listening to reason and logic and decide to respond with aggression instead.
