It's a shame when people feel Self Delete is their only means of escape. Life is so precious yet, like crystal, so fragile as well. Life is difficult for everyone, though much of our difficulties we cause our self. People need to begin to see ends as not a stopping point, but rather a new beginning. People have to learn to see past that which is right in front of them. People have to start Loving that which is magnificent with the world as opposed to feeling hatred over that which is terrible. All light has some darkness. But that also means all darkness has some light.
And as Illidan said, you should not look through windows. Something deeper may have been going on. Only that child knows.
