You called Burnout Paradise an "old game nobody cares about." News flash, you are not everybody. I still play it and I can find online matches really easily so obviously others do too.
You then go on to tell ecksi to play MW2. Guess what. If I'm playing a racing game obviously I don't want to be playing an FPS.
Furthermore, just because you and a few of your friends like one game doesn't mean it's the best thing ever. Number of players is not always an entirely accurate depiction of how good a game is. There are plenty of great games that have fallen under because of mass-produced mainstream games like Call of Duty. So don't go saying "it's good because a lot of people play it."
