Maplestory is a game like most MMO-style games.
Not much makes it unique.
It has a cash shop, and all that stuff.
But in gameplay, you get a somewhat good class selection.
You can purchase more slots to have characters, at the moment you can have 6 for free, due to the cygnus knights aran and evan updates.

Pirate
Magician
Cygnus knight (all of the previous just the level cap stops at 120 instead of 200.)
Aran (combo warrior thing)
Evan (dragon commander)
I recently got a free level 30 character card thing and thankfully I could use it because I have a level 30 character.
I go on the Windia world and my new character is Dropcake.
