What I do:

1. Download a .mid file
2. Add a channel containing the soundfont in FL Studio.
3. Import every channel but channel 10 from the .mid file into the layer
4. Add a reverb to it.

These are good, do an nes megaman parody.

Or a Final Fantasy 1 parody.

Well that's kind of cheating.

True, it still sounds quite nice.

Can you transcribe any song by ear? if you can, you could come in great help, I can't find sheets to these songs, and i can't find anyone that will transcribe them.
I can; it may take a day or two though. However, I cannot read or write sheet music, nor can I export FLP [FL Studio Projects] because I don't have 300 freaking dollars to get everything I use.

Well seeing as transcribing IS writing sheet music, I figure you can't. What did you think transcribing was?
