DF getting a wrench just shows that this event isn't actually random and that it's possible to figure out when the chances of getting a wrench are higher. Either that or he was picked to get it, which I wouldn't be surprised at.

Edit: Infact, I'm pretty sure others from SourceOP have gotten wrenches, and some people have successfully predicted the drops there.

He made it in one try. Yeah whatever, he made TF2 items, he also made the idle program and didn't get any stuff over it, he even got a halo, and his own community weapons. Also notice how 4 of his friends, who are also SourceOP members have golden wrenches.
