I figured out that 2+2 doesn't always equal 4, now I must die from a firing squad then.

Him and the guys at SourceOP figured out the pattern of drops.

So what, they deserve it for being smart.

Hint: It's like counting cards at poker. In fact, exactly like counting cards at poker.

He knew exactly when the wrench drops would occur. He used a third party program to send a craft notice to the server at the exact time it would drop.

Edit: also I'm extremely glad there's such a large scandal over this because, frankly, forget valve.
