honestly, if you want to use it go ahead if you've got the memory/ram/whatever the forget, but at least keep a backup of XP just in case.

i'll get windows 7 as soon as I can be assured that its completely bug free. as i said once before, anything new will have errors. plus XP is reliable, but it is old you're right

My computer has no problems with Vista, and neither do the other computers on which I've tried it. Even my old computer was able to run it flawlessly despite needing a BIOS flashing to support it because it was so old.

Win7 is a Godly OS. I don't any problems with it and none of the same problems I have had with XP. My computer boots up in only a few seconds while the xp PC takes 2 minutes to load. The only problem I have had with it is compatility settings. It seems to screw the colors up in older games.

If you're looking for a gaming laptop, the prices can go pretty high. Why can't you just buy a desktop PC? :o
Also, I have a celeron. It sucks. It sucks REALLY bad. Blockland takes a year to load, and MMO's like tales runner and S4league lag like stuff.
World of warcraft will do just fine on it, but Obilivion (Even with lowest settings.) will frustrate with all the lag you have to sit through.
DONT buy a celeron. It used to be good, but it can't compare with this time. Just buy a dual-core or something.
