so unless you start to offer tons of game content exclusive through this mod.
i dont see a reason to need it.

the game needs quality game modes and bricks.
none of which ANY addon makers make.

if it wasn't for rtb's irc and server management, i wouldn't even need it.
this entire community is pretty disappointing in the ad-dons department,.

As I work through it, I'll see what little things can be done to improve game functionality.

and i dont know.... maybe allow me to instantly join any server, wile i download and install all the bullstuff they have slowly while already in the game.
if that magic is possible for blockland, i would be sucking someones rooster right now.

till then, i haven't, and wont even be joining other servers for a long time.

not grinding 1x1 "rocks"  and tree bricks for stats and money. thats for sure.

just because current rpg mod makers refer to mmo's for inspiration, dont mean the aspect of role playing cant be unique and actually fun for blockland.
this is a topic that i could debate all day in its own topic. with craploads of ideas and examples.
not really something im going to get into here.
besides, its my little dream about blockland, im not involved with anyone's projects.

Well it's very likely possible and if you get the ideas out there someone might at least make it.

I don't think you should make an add-on manger. RTB is already so mainstream, I don't think BC would have any chance in that area.

For the record, I'm not at all worried about competition. There is only room in Blockland for one add-on of this magnitude and RTB is well established as well as unofficially endorsed by Blockland itself. Anyone trying to "compete" with it is just trying to start up another round of mod wars which I assure you Badspot will have zero tolerance for. There's no reason or need for an entirely new add-on hoster, it's a waste of time to replicate every feature RTB has into a new add-on.

If this were just a new chat add-on or something it'd be fine, but the fact that it's trying to replicate every single feature that everyone already has is just absurd.

He does have a new chat add-on for this...And he is making more for this than RTB has.Badspot won't except the fact you moved a development of a mod topic into the drama board. And I have a good mind to tell him myself. This is abusing power!
