Author Topic: Better graphics card?  (Read 3070 times)

Uh radeons are powerful but they have HUGE compatibility issues. I recomend not using them.

Just pay more for a GeForce 9800. It should last you a while, games are only at about 8000 required so far.

Building a computer is very difficult. :c

Luckily I'm learning very fast. I think I'm about to order... soon.

Don't listen to these idiots.

Keonesan is completely handicapped, and Night Fox told you to get a far cheaper and far weaker card. 5770 is actually your best bet for that price, it is the recommended card for almost every budget gaming PC you see in magazines and on the web.

Everyone I've known that had an ATI actually had issues getting games to display properly without glitches.

Ever consider they're handicapped? There's only five-ish people on these forums who know what the hell they're doing, I doubt these friends you speak of are one of them.

Don't listen to these idiots.

I purposely didn't.

Yea, which is why I ended up with what I did. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. I'm still open for other opinions though.

They're not handicapped, they just never look for drivers after they install a new graphics card. They're kind of anxious to use it.

Personally I try to avoid ATI graphics cards as I've gotten two faulty ones in a row one time

If you are a Nvidia fan you could get like a 250 for a little less which is less powerful than a 5770, or a 260 for a little more and is slightly more powerful than a 5770.

You're handicapped for running your mouth while not knowing what you're talking about.
