And so concludes the weekend. I didn't go pvp, instead getting construction to 45 and doing Hunt for Red Raktuber. Started Fremenik isles but trolls kill me easy even at level 87. Borrowed whip for 10 hours :D Now I got enough money to buy one, except that it's in items. 2.2m worth of Broodoo shields in GE. Any offers? 70K Each. Completed family crest.

Got bored of Runecrafting...Will spend penguin points on it on Wednesday.

Got 91 Water Runes at once without the explorers ring as guide says...Kinda of annoying since 4 RPE is at 57. 68 Smithing and 60 Firemaking to do. Going to post on RS forums to get Jagex to ALLOW assistance.

60 FM is like nothing. You could do it in 2-3 hours. With maples I was getting over 160k xp/h, and level 60 is only 274k xp. From 45 (62k xp) it's less than 90 minutes, which isn't much on the scale of things.

As for 68 smithing, yeah that's actually pretty high. But I went from 30 to 70 (724k xp) with just steel bars. At 17.5 xp per bar, it's over 41000 steel bars (which was a great profit). Just power smith iron platebodies and you shouldn't have a problem. Smithing doesn't require all that much clicking compared to FM, and as such you can multitask more enjoyable things.

I have purchased the maples and can do 60 firemaking; The easier bit.

It's a lot...41000 steel bars takes ages, and I haven't the money to fund enough iron bars.

17,075 Steel Bars to get 68 from 61.
9,960 Mithril Bars to get 68 from 61. This does sound a lot nicer, considering it would boost mining.
Alternatively, a total of 11,952 iron bars are needed for 68; 2391 iron plates. It's only 1593 steel plates, but that's steel bars.

I'll assess the situation if I sell the shields. 2.2m would be enough to get loads of coal and iron for steel, and would probably help with other stuff. All this requires two things:
Time
Money

I don't have much of either.
