For forget sake, do I have to tell you everything specifically? Getting 85 mining and 99 smithing instead of nothing SO YOU CAN WORK YOUR ASS OFF EVEN MORE just to get, like, the WORST armour in the game that actually counts as armour, is loving stupid.

You're probably right, but on the other hand it's better to make and get free stuffzzzz than buy it for 65k...

I'm not saying that you should get 85 and 99 to get rune plate by any means; In fact if you do you should hang yourself.

However, it is better to get free stuff than to pay for it in most circumstances, and at 99 smithing you can do everything...kinda useful.
