saradomin swords arnt really worth the money and you should never invest all your money in one item if i where you i would just keep the whip and skill with it
you'll be buying a whip eventually so its worth keeping and you probably wont get your moneys worth out of the saradomin sword.

its only really good for training strength and the fact that its 2h is BADA$$ but its also a def set back.
