my desktop only has 1 icon on it

and I can't get rid of it. fuuuuu recycle bin ;-;

:o Are you sure?  If you have windows 7 like I do you can right click on the desktop, click personalize, then click change desktop icons in the upper-left corner of the window.  From there you just have to uncheck the checkbox for the recycle bin.
