I also don't get how if you IRC him to start an argument, why you want him to get unbanned. You just started lecturing him. If you want to be unbanned, I think one should apologize instead. You just made your case worse.

I don't agree with swearing. little swear words lead to BIGGER swear words.

I, myself, will ban for hardcore swearing and bad actions. If people swear here and there, fine. But, for bad actions, and/or hardcore swearing, I ban for a 20 minutes.
