I had some friends over and we played D&D. This is the first time I've ever played.
I was the dungeon master and had four players to put into an awesome adventure.
They all met up in a guild bar because this pale blue lizard man wearing rings on all of his fingers and a monocle on his eye beckoned them to the back room . The lizard man bought them drinks and told them of a rare spider's poison that gives the adventurer that drinks it a special ability of unknown description. Then the party decided to steal the map from the lizard man but he noticed Nintek the half-ling attempting to steal it so the lizard attacked. In order to defend Nintek, Enderz the sorcerer used a spell to blast off the lizards arm. Then Nintek picked up the map and the party ran off on their adventure in search of the spider's poison.
They checked the map and the majority decided to go to the swamp rather than the castle, both marked on the map with check marks. They headed to the swamp and Pheonix the knight searched the area and found a big tree with a stone entrance. Emminating from the runes in the door was a blue light. Nintek used one of his abilities to open the door. The party crept inside, it was pitch black so Gargath the warrior lite one of his torches. Pheonix looked around again and found a distubingly fat white imp. They asked it where to go and it pointed to arches behind it.
The party went under the arches to find themselves in a new room. They spotted two Zarbz, creatures of the realm of Thelos, Gargath tried to talk to them but their language is not known to any but the Zarbz. One of the Zarbs cast a poison spell on the party So Gargath shot the dark green on in the head. Nintek decided to capture the other one and bound it with rope, the party searched it and found a blue vial. They fed some to the Zarb to see if it was the antidote or poisonous. Suddenly the Zarb grew taller than all of them combined. Nintek tried to shoot it with his crossbow but missed and accidently shot Enderz in the leg. Enderz without and armor was very wounded but he decided to climb up the Zarb and cut it's head off. Little did they all know but once Zarbs are killed they continue to run around and attack blindly for a few days at the most. So this gaint lizard creature is blindly stomping them already dead itself.
The party decides they cannot stop the Zarb so run out the stone entrance. But as they are running out Nintek falls and hits a trap that makes the stone door fall. Enderz, Gargath, and Pheonix are all outside in the swamp but Nintek is still trapped within. At first the outside party doesn't realize that Nintek is still inside. Nintek sees a long hallway and uses his keen ears to see if there is a door at the end of it sense he has no light. He starts to run to the door but a few steps before the door he falls into a trap door. Hurled down a slimy and cold tube he slides around and around then falls into a pit of mucus. The party outside manages to use all their strength to rock the stone door back and forth and knock it down. The door falls on the imp that was sitting behind it all of his guts are pushed out of him. With the last of the imps life it points down the hallway which Nintek went down.
The party blindly runs down the hallway but Pheonix senses the trap door. They stop and yell for Nintek . . . no response. Gargath drops his torch down the trap door. Then they hear Nintek yelling for them. Gargath blindly jumps into the trap and is then also stuck with Nintek. Pheonix and Enderz decide to open the door that is behind the trap door. The room is pitch black all they can see is a ladder leading directly down. Enderz stays at the top an Pheonix travels down the wooden ladder. once down he lights a torch and sees a huge red beast atleast 12 stories high with it's mouth open and attached to the ceiling directly where the trap door is. The monster is a actually asleep as Pheonix finds out. From where Enderz is he sees Nintek and Gargath inside the beasts mouth!
Now the Adventurers start to argue about what they should do about this. Enderz decides he is going to get his bow ready and jump down the trap door. He jumps down and just as he is about to fall into the mucus along with Nintek and Gargath he shoots the red beast directly the the uvula making it throw up Nintek and Gargath. Now all of party is on the ground ready to fight this huge red monster. It's so big though that they decide to run so they all climb up the ladder. As they do the giant monster crashed the ladder. Nintek stabs his sword into the wall and everyone grabs on. Not knowing what to do from here sense they are half way up the wall with the door directly above them Gargath decideds to jump onto the monsters head. He pulls at the monsters eye lids and moves it over so the rest of the party can get on. Then they jump from the head of the beast to the door rolling onto the ground where they are safe from danger.
Then the adventure ended for now. :D
