Can't wait to get home and play this.

Which one did you buy? ArmA 2 or Combat Operations?

I might be getting 2 once I get my 5750.

Think you'll be able to max it on that card?

Probably not, I could play on all high though with like 20-30 FPS in a huge battle

Mmm. I have a similar card and I'm trying to estimate my performance.

You could search up some videos on it. That usually helps a lot.

I played the demo and it was running great, though I didn't turn up any settings and didn't look to see what they were set at.

lolololol... no.
I can't even play it properly on max with my GTX 295, which is equal in perfomance to a 5850/5870(I forgot which one)

About to fire it up. Wish me luck.

Edit: It's not tooooo bad performance wise. I can max out everything except antialiasing (set at 5) and 3D Resolution (set at 100%) at 1600x1200. Might need to mess around with it a bit depending on framerates. I ran it without Fraps first time.

Also, it's complicated as forget. It's like Flight Simulator but war.

You gotta get used to it, it's really fun once you do. Especially once you mess around with the editor.

Also I was finally able to put a name to that aiming I hate so much in some FPS and adventure games: Smoothing. I'm glad they let you turn that down, because it would have ruined the game for me.

Where you can move the gun around and the camera follows after a certain distance? Not much of an Issue for me since I've been used to it since OFP.
