I said this on annother topic, but I think it deserved it's own, Discuss...

ok allittle offtopic, but I gotta wonder, is it possible to make a heli actually realistic?

I mean c'mon

1. Heli starts in regular posion:
   a_     ---.--- 
       \_/_|__|_)

2. Heli tilts nose downward:  (sorry cant display)
   a_     ---.--- 
       \_/_|__|_)

3. Heli Would normally go foreward but on Blockland it goes down.

And plus, if this was put into effect, then tilting it's nose up on BL would mean either the heli going haywire or backing up in RL. (depending on model)

I mean, everyone's used to this, but im surprised no one pointed this out yet.

It's been suggested, a while back someone (don't remember who) even offered a decent amount of money for whoever made one.
It's just so hard to do, pretty much impossible with the current engine without some laggy and glitchy hack.

So they made one anyways, but they used a plane script in a helicopter model which currently looks and feels gay.

I'd like up and down controls. Its possible, look at the GSF helicopter.


It would be easier and more accurate to say "give helicopters full cyclic control".
