It's a metaphor. You're saying your skills and experience will let you achieve greatness with this mod idea, and I'm telling you that the mod idea is flawed so that achieving greatness with it is impossible. You know mapping, but that won't save you from poor design, similar to how knowing karate won't save you from third degree burns.
Makes more sense, but you're assuming all I'm doing is just rebuilding DOOM inside Alien Swarm, which is not what I'm doing. I'm using the same design as the maps from DOOM, but I'm modifying them to work better in AS. Obviously, a lot of things would be stupid to replicate in AS, like those shelf things on the outskirts of the second room, so I'm going to improvise. I'm not straying too far from the original layout, but I'm still trying to make it unique in its own way.
