You dont need a long shovel.

Once you ping the snake down, take a huge rock and smash it head, once its either dazed, or out cold, back up, lift the shovel, and slice its head off

You need something with a blade like a machete. (It would have to be a friggin long machete.)

My dad and I decided to bring 2 BBGuns and have a contest to see who can kill it. :D

Safe distance away will hopefully prevent accidents and 2 people shooting a BB rifle and handgun will hopefully do enough damage.

Get a big sheet of glass. Keep on walking towards it using the glass as protection. Have a shovel in your other hand at all times. Go over the sheet of glass and decipitate its head. Its safe if you know what your doing.

Better yet, get a professional to do it for you. Don't danger yourself by doing anything.
