sets of push-ups every day
like 50-100 every day in sets at various times
yeah eventually it would do something kthx
Doing that many push-ups everyday will not make you stronger. It will only hurt your body. Only do large amounts of them for strength training two or three times a week. Your body needs time to repair the muscle and it will never do so if you break it back down everyday. Push-ups are an excellent way to train your body at any age but especially when younger as your skeletal and muscular systems aren't developed enough to do more serious weight training like an adult can. Supplement the push-ups with both underhand and overhand grip pull-ups and crunches and you can easily work out your entire upper body.
Myself, I do weight lifting three times a week, exercising each muscle group only once that week. Except for abdominals, I do them every time I lift. Each muscle is worked out much more intensely than with a full body workout of the same time. After six months or so of that routine I can begin working on a much more advanced plan where I lift five times a week even more intensely.
I do 20-30 minutes of cardio exercise a day. A light jog, biking, elliptical machine. Stuff like that. I know people say machines are junk, but this is a high end one and I didn't buy it so I might as well use it. I don't do cardio exercises with the goal of only becoming a faster runner, so anything that elevates my heart rate is acceptable to me. Helps to mix up the activities so you don't become bored.
