Mini Map

What i was thinking is that a Map that hangs down on the bottom right-hand corner, and has a little dot, indicating where you are. And, if Your a admin, you can type into the chat box /Look (Persons name)/(BL_ID), and it will show the person on the map. Can this be done?

It's possible. More complex things have been done.

It's just that maybe 5% of anything suggested gets made. The rest are either flamed or are just remain as ideas.

Then again, you could simply super-impose a miniaturized layout of each map onto the existing compass mod...

I give it a 60% chance of being possible. Would be very useful.

Like 007: Nightfire, if you ever played that. didn't show buildings or anything, just relative location.
Somehow showing a brick or terrain height map would be great, but probably not possible.

It would be used for GSF maps, and it would show jsut a little red blip, indicating your player. But, if your admin, it would show a red blip, and green blips (depending on how many players there are in the server.It would jsut show the map, the player(s), and thats it. no brix, no layers, and no cookies!

what about like the switch playertype between topdown and first person/third person? switching with jet or something, that way you can just raise how high the topdown sees, and then use that as the minimap?
