Steam "Can't connect to steam network"

So I've got this problem with steam where when i try to log in it says "cannot connect to steam network" even though my network is perfectly fine. What2do?

Restart your computer

This problem has persisted for 5 reboots.

Rename Clientregistry.blob to Clientregistry.hilf


Or just rename to Clientregistryold.blob.



On startup steam should create a fresh new Clientregistry, which will (hopefully) refresh its connection.


Clientregistry.blob is located in the steam folder
