Grabbin' laser beams!

I was playing L4D2 earlier on and i was thinking about blockland, and the laser beams. This would be a epic idea and Bushido's 880 rifle had laser sights.

It would be a item you walk over and the gun you have in your hand gets laser sights but when you die they go away etc. Would be good for TDM's in the dark or somthing like that.
somthing like the picture. a RTB pref for what colour you want (eg. blue, green, red etc)

What do you think?

Which 880 Rifle?

Which 880 Rifle?
There was only one 880 rifle
or are you thinking of the old school rifle

I never knew anything by the name of 880 Rifle existed.  I already know of the OSR.

Lasers sight would be cool, it can be an item with the LaserA emitter, the only problem is making the laser/emitter actually be useful like the crosshair

I don't think the laser should be held iteself like an flashlight, but there should be guns like M4, submachineguns, pistols that it is attached to them

I still wonder how BadSpot did it in his other Torque game...

LaserA emitter
Emitter wouldn't be useful in this situation, seeing as the particles move slowly. Maybe some sort of static image of a laser beam could to be attached to the front of the gun?

why is it always lazers with you i'm telling you smoke machines are what the people want  :cookieMonster:

Yes.

It could even be part of the model? Toggle transparency and such.

Erm, wouldnt there need to be a mountpoint on each weapon for the lasor sights to attach?

Old school rifle is outdated get 880 its not failed it still works.

Nope, because every bullet has a laser pointer on the front of it. When it is fired, that bullet's laser pointer turns off and the next bullet in the clip turns on :D so it just comes right from the barrel :3
